This challenge represents something much bigger than the distance.
Just as 120 km cannot be completed in a single step, leaving domestic violence is rarely one simple action. It is a journey that takes courage, careful planning, support, and many small steps toward safety and independence.
Every kilometre we run represents another step forward for the women and children rebuilding their lives with the support of the Women & Children’s Shelter of Barrie.
Through this challenge, we are raising awareness, bringing the community together, and helping support the shelter’s vital work right here in Barrie.
Every step we take helps empower women and children to build a safer, brighter future.
